Website improvements for next season

We are pleased to announce a variety of improvements to our website for the start of the season.

The issue of the site not displaying on mobile phones and displaying an error message was frustrating for us also. We discovered this was an issue with the hosting service for our website.

We decided it was better not to make adjustments until the ‘close-season’ to avoid any down time and we are glad to say this issue has now been resolved.

For this coming season we have made the following improvements:

Live Score Service – this service will now feature on the site as a ‘vidi-printer’ with squad details, goals and scorers, cautions and sending offs.

Lowland League Live Blog – each match day a live Blog will run on the site. This will allow fans to read about all the action as it happens from across the league. (This will be populated by club twitter accounts)

Weekly Columnists – we are delighted that some of the reporters who regularly write about the League have agreed to become columnists. This will allow us to publish one column a week which we are sure will be of interest to you.

Under 20’s League – we have all the details of the under 20’s league to our website and this will be updated each week.

League Board member John McCabe said “I am delighted with the adjustments to the site and the new additions for next season.

“I must say a special thanks to Steven Rattray from We.Data who has been working hard to develop a new mobile app for our live scores.

“We are thankful to the folk who have agreed to write columns and I look forward to reading these each week.

“We will also be updating the league table promptly after each match day.

“I thank everyone for their patience whilst the site begins to get up and running over the next few days.”
