Linlithgow Rose vs Berwick Rangers

Both sides met each other in last season’s Scottish Cup – with Linlithgow Rose knocking Berwick Rangers out at the First Round with a 2-1 victory.

Linlithgow Rose currently sit in 7th place with 15 points from their nine games played – made up of four wins, three draws, and two defeats.

The Rose have seen their last three league games end in 2-2 draws, followed by an 8-0 win over Newtongrange Star in the South Challenge Cup, and a 2-1 Scottish Cup exit at the hands of Cowdenbeath.

Berwick Rangers currently sit in 8th place with 15 points, also, but have played ten – made up of four wins, three draws, and three defeats.

The Wee Gers come into this off the back of a heavy 5-1 Scottish Cup defeat at the hands of Highland League side, Brora Rangers.

Linlithgow Rose vs East Kilbride

This is the first time both sides have faced each other.

Linlithgow Rose currently find themselves in 6th place with 14 points from eight played – made up of four wins, two draws, and two defeats.

The Rose are the joint-second top scorers, alongside Tranent, finding the back of the net 24 times, and come into this off the back of consecutive 2-2 draws v Edinburgh University and Hearts B.

East Kilbride are flying at the top of the table with 22 points from eight games, three points clear of second place, Cumbernauld Colts, with EK having a game in hand.

The Kilby are the only team to have yet to taste defeat in the Lowland League, this season – having won seven and drawn one. They are also the top scorers, with 33 goals, and have conceded seven.

Linlithgow Rose vs Edinburgh University

This is the first time both sides have met each other.

Linlithgow Rose have fairly settled into the league, finding themselves in fifth position – with four wins and two losses from their six played.

The Rose are also the joint-top scorers in the league, alongside East Kilbride – with an impressive 12 players contributing to their 20 goals scored.

Edinburgh University find themselves in familiar territory – starting this seasons campaign where they finished in 22/23, second from bottom.

The Students have lost all six of their games, conceding 28 in the process.

Linlithgow Rose vs Gala Fairydean Rovers

This is the first time the two sides have met since their dramatic East of Scotland Cup Final – with Gala Fairydean Rovers winning 4-3 on penalties, after the ninety finished 2-2.

Linlithgow Rose are settling into life in the Lowland League – winning three of their five matches, and losing the other two.

Nine players have contributed to the Rose’s 15 league goals, and they’ll be confident of finding the net, once again – coming into this off the back of defeating Leith Athletic 6-3 in the East of Scotland Qualifying Cup.

Gala Fairydean Rovers have lost three of their five opening games, with heavy back-to-back league defeats – losing 5-0 and 6-1 to Celtic B and East Kilbride.

GFR also come into this off the back of South Challenge Cup exit – thanks to a 3-2 loss after extra time to Tynecastle, and will be hoping to have a shift of momentum in this fixture.

Linlithgow Rose vs Cumbernauld Colts

This will be the first time Linlithgow Rose and Cumbernauld Colts come up against each other.

East of Scotland Champions, Linlithgow Rose have enjoyed a solid start to their inaugural Lowland League campaign – winning three of their four opening games, and losing the other.

Nine players have contributed to the Rose’s 13 goals, making them a threat from a variety of positions.

Having gone their first three games without losing or conceding, Cumbernauld Colts tasted their first defeat, last weekend – falling to a 5-1 defeat v Tranent at Broadwood.

Billy Mortimer has scored all of the Colts’ goals, and is currently the joint-top scorer with five goals.
