Last night’s GeoSonic Lowland League fixture between BSC Glasgow and Whitehill Welfare at the Indodrill Stadium was abandoned in the last ten minutes due to a severe injury to BSC Glasgow player Adam Strachan.
At that point in the match, BSC Glasgow were leading 5-0 when the referee took the decision to abandon the match in order to allow the player to receive treatment on the field of play. In these circumstances there are a number of options available to the board.
Following careful deliberation and representations made by both clubs, the board of the Scottish Lowland League have taken the decision to take the final whistle as the end of the match and have the result stand as a 5-0 victory for BSC Glasgow Football Club.
