Another fascinating week in the GeoSonic Lowland League has seen East Kilbride retake the lead at the top of the table (albeit because their closest rivals were in South Challenge Cup action) and Dalbeattie Star arrest their slide with a creditable draw against East Stirlingshire.
Following a disciplinary hearing held on Tuesday 21st August, an independent panel found Selkirk FC guilty of breaching rules B14 and B15 of the Scottish Lowland Football League’s rules and regulations by failing to fulfil their match with Kelty Hearts, and were subsequently fined the sum of £500, with £250 suspended on condition no further breaches occurred.
GeoSonic, the Alloa-based sonic drilling contractor, has concluded a one-year deal to become the new title sponsor of the Scottish Lowland Football League.
