The Scottish Lowland Football League, along with the Highland League is the 5th tier of Scottish football.

Cowdenbeath vs Gala Fairydean Rovers

Edinburgh University vs East Stirlingshire

East Stirlingshire got the better of the results, last season – with a 1-1 draw and a 3-0 win in the league, as well as a 5-0 knockout victory in the Lowland League Cup.

Edinburgh University are currently bottom of the table with only one point – made up of eight defeats and a draw.

Uni looked set to pick up their first win against Gala Fairydean Rovers, midweek, and will have been disappointed to lose 2-1 with the goals for GFR coming on the 83rd and 92nd minute.

East Stirlingshire currently sit 16th place with six points from ten games played – made up of one win, three draws, and six defeats.

The Shire come into this with back-to-back 1-1 draws v Caley Braves and Cumbernauld Colts, having been ahead in both games.

Gretna 2008 vs Berwick Rangers

Cumbernauld Colts vs East Stirlingshire

Both sides met on three occasions, last season, with Cumbernauld Colts walking out victorious each time – 3-2 and 2-0 in league action, and knocking East Stirlingshire out of the Lowland League Cup with a 1-0 win.

Cumbernauld Colts currently sit in 4th place with 19 points from nine games played – made up of six wins, a draw, and two defeats.

The Colts come into this with three consecutive wins behind them, and a victory here will see them jump up to 2nd – one point behind league leaders, East Kilbride.

East Stirlingshire currently sit in 16th place with five points from nine games – made up of one win, two draws, and six defeats.

After back-to-back defeats v Stirling Uni and Albion Rovers, The Shire come into this having picked up a late point against Caledonian Braves – with the game ending 1-1.

University of Stirling vs Albion Rovers

University of Stirling currently find themselves in 15th place with eight points from eight games played – made up of two wins, two draws, and four defeats.

Uni come into this off having suffered back-to-back defeats against Tranent and Gala Fairydean Rovers, and will be hoping to pick up some points at home.

Albion Rovers sit in 13th place, but have played a considerable amount less than the rest due to playing in the Viaplay Cup Group Stage – picking up nine points from their five games played.

Having managed three consecutive victories, Rovers come into this off the back of a 2-1 defeat away to Celtic B, and will be hoping tonight gets them back to winning ways.

Berwick Rangers vs Heart of Midlothian B

Berwick Rangers were unable to defeat Hearts B, last season – with the games ending 6-0 to the Wee Jambos, followed by a 1-1 draw.

Berwick Rangers have had a ‘straight down the middle’ start to the campaign, sitting in 10th with 11 points from eight played – made up of three wins, three losses, and two draws, with 10 goals scored, and 10 conceded.

The Wee Gers will be hoping to bounce back from their 2-0 defeat at home to Cowdenbeath, having been undefeated in their previous five.

Hearts B find themselves in 3rd place with 18 points from nine games played – made up of five wins, three draws, and a defeat.

The Wee Jambos haven’t lost in their last four games, but come into this with back-to-back draws v Caledonian Braves and Linlithgow Rose.

Broomhill vs Civil Service Strollers

Both sides shared the spoils with home victories, last season – with Civil Service Strollers winning 3-1, and Broomhill securing a 4-1 win.

Broomhill currently sit in 9th place with 11 points from eight games – made up of three wins, three defeats, and two draws.

Having been undefeated in five league games, as well as keeping five consecutive clean sheets, the Broom come into this with back-to-back defeats.

Civil Service Strollers find themselves in 7th place with 14 points from eight played – made up of four wins, two draws, and two defeats.

Strollers have lost only one of their previous six Lowland League games – with that bump in the road coming at the cost of Gretna 2008’s first win of the season. They’ll be coming in with confidence, having bounced back with a 2-0 win over Bo’ness United.
