The Scottish Lowland Football League are shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Bo’ness United chairman, Iain Muirhead.
League chairperson, Thomas Brown, said: “This is terrible news for Iain’s family and friends, and also for everyone associated with Bo’ness United.
“It was a privilege to have met him several times since his club joined the Lowland League two years ago.
“He will be sadly, sadly missed and the thoughts of everyone connected with the Lowland League are with his family, friends and everyone at Bo’ness United at this difficult time.”
The club’s South Challenge Cup game due to be played tomorrow has been postponed.
