Cowdenbeath have failed to find a win over Celtic B on the three occasions they have met – with Celtic B winning 3-1 and 3-0, with the game earlier this season ending in a 2-2 draw.

The Blue Brazil come into this off their Scottish Cup exit, losing 2-0 away to Scottish Championship side, Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

The Rosey Posey have lost two of their last three matches – with a 2-0 victory over Civil Service Strollers sitting in between 2-1 and 3-0 defeats to East Kilbride and Celtic B.

Both sides last met each other in the 21/22 season as League Two outfits – Albion Rovers defeated Cowdenbeath 1-0 in the last meeting, as well as 2-1 earlier that season. Cowdenbeath did get one over Rovers, winning 1-0, with the other result ending in a 0-0 draw.

The Blue Brazil come into this off the back of a Scottish Cup Second Round victory over Kilwinning Rangers, winning 1-0. The result put them in the hat for the Third Round, where they face an away trip to Championship side, Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

Albion Rovers currently sit in 15th place with 13 points from their nine games played – made up of four wins, one draw, and four defeats.

Rovers also come into this fresh off progressing into the Scottish Cup Third Round – thanks to a 2-1 win over St Andrews United. They will welcome former Lowland League Champions and now League Two side, Bonnyrigg Rose.

Both sides managed a home victory, last season – with both fixtures ending 1-0.

After back-to-back victories, The Blue Brazil suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat away to Tranent, and will be hoping to put some more points on the board.

Caledonian Braves currently sit in 9th place with 17 points from their 13 games played – made up of five wins, two draws, and six defeats.

Since their Scottish Cup exit at the hands of Fraserburgh, The Braves have hit a fine run of form, managing four consecutive victories – three in the league, and knocking fellow Lowland League side, East Stirlingshire out of the South Challenge Cup.

Last season saw both games finish in close contests – with the points being shared thanks to 1-0 home victories.

The Blue Brazil haven’t lost their previous three games – including South Challenge Cup and Scottish Cup wins over Kilsyth Rangers and Linlithgow Rose.

Cumbernauld Colts currently sit in 3rd place with 20 points from their 11 games played – made up of six wins, two draws, and three defeats.

The Colts have hit a dip in form – with their 2-1 South Challenge Cup win over Hill of Beath Hawthorn being the only victory of their last four competitive games, including the Scottish Cup exit at the hands of Broomhill.

Only one point separates the two sides – with a game in-hand, Cowdenbeath will be looking at this as a perfect opportunity to leapfrog Gala.

It was Gala Fairydean Rovers who got the better of the results, last season – winning 2-1, followed by a 1-1 draw.

The Blue Brazil’s two defeats have come in the last three games – losing 4-2 and 2-0 to East Kilbride and Tranent, either side of their 2-0 win over Berwick Rangers.

Gala Fairydean Rovers currently sit in 9th place with 13 points from nine games – made up of four wins, one draw, and four defeats.

GFR come into this on good form – having won their last three games against Broomhill, Stirling Uni, and Edinburgh Uni, scoring seven goals along the way.

It was Tranent who got the better of the two sides, last season – winning 4-2 at Foresters, followed by a 0-0 draw at Central Park.

Cowdenbeath sit in 8th place with 12 points from seven played – made up of three wins, three draws, and one loss.

Following their 4-2 defeat away to East Kilbride, The Blue Brazil bounced back with a 2-0 win away to Berwick Rangers – and look on course to better last season’s 15th place finish.

Tranent currently sit in 4th place with 16 points from eight games played – made up of five wins, two defeats, and a draw, six points off league leaders, East Kilbride.

The Big T will be hoping to get a third consecutive victory for the first time, this season – following their 2-1 win over Stirling Uni and comprehensive 8-0 victory over Gretna 2008.

Last season, Broomhill defeated Cowdenbeath 3-0 on both occasions.

Cowdenbeath are one of only three teams not to have tasted defeat, at this point in the season.

The Blue Brazil have picked up six points from the capital, defeating Hearts B 2-1, and Edinburgh University 7-1.

They picked up a further two points – having drawn 2-2 with both Celtic B and Civil Service Strollers.

Since their 2-1 opening day defeat away to East Kilbride, Broomhill have went on an impressive unbeaten streak of five games – three wins and a draw in the league, as well as a 1-0 victory over Neilston in the South Challenge Cup.

Adding to their unbeaten streak, The Broom have the best defence in the league – conceding only the two goals away to East Kilbride, accumulating to five consecutive clean sheets, including the cup.
