Both sides faced each other last week – with East Kilbride knocking Cowdenbeath out of the South Challenge Cup thanks to a 6-0 win at Central Park.

Cowdenbeath currently sit in 10th place with 30 points from their 23 games played – made up of seven wins, nine draws, and seven defeats.

The Blue Brazil are without a competitive win in five games – losing four and drawing the other, including South Challenge and Lowland League Cup exits.

East Kilbride currently sit top of the table with 57 points from their 23 games played – made up of 18 wins, three draws, and two defeats.

The Kilby come into this with three wins on the bounce and have scored 12 goals along the way (conceding three), and will be hoping for a repeat performance of the 6-0 win at Central Park, last week.

The last time both sides faced each other, it was Bo’ness United that secured the three points – thanks to a 4-2 victory at home.

Since their defeat to Bo’ness United, The Blue Brazil are four games undefeated in the league – a 3-3 draw with Celtic B was followed by wins over Hearts B, Albion Rovers, and East Stirlingshire.

Bo’ness United currently sit in 4th place with 41 points from their 21 games played – made up of 13 wins, two draws, and five defeats.

Like their opponents, the B.U’s are also four games undefeated – a 0-0 draw with Linlithgow Rose is amongst victories over Gretna 2008, Berwick Rangers, and East Stirlingshire.

Cowdenbeath are undefeated on three occasions they have met with Hearts B – drawing 1-1 and winning 3-1 last season, as well as being one of two teams to beat the Wee Jambos, this season, winning 2-1.

Hearts B currently sit in 2nd place with 39 points from their 19 games played – made up of 11 wins, six draws, and two defeats.

Whilst last weekend’s Edinburgh Derby with Civil Service Strollers was abandoned on the 78th minute due to a medical emergency, the Wee Jambos had earned the three points with their 3-0 result standing.

Cowdenbeath have failed to find a win over Celtic B on the three occasions they have met – with Celtic B winning 3-1 and 3-0, with the game earlier this season ending in a 2-2 draw.

The Blue Brazil come into this off their Scottish Cup exit, losing 2-0 away to Scottish Championship side, Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

Celtic B currently sit in 10th place with 22 points from their 15 games played – made up of seven wins, one draw, and seven defeats.

The Young Hoops come in to this off the back of a 2-0 away win over Lazio in the UEFA Youth League.

Cowdenbeath defeated Linlithgow Rose in their only meeting, so far – knocking them out of the Scottish Cup earlier this season with a 2-1 victory.

The Blue Brazil have drawn their last two league outings – 2-2 and 0-0 with Caley Braves and Albion Rovers. In between, they defeated Kilwinning Rangers 1-0 in the Scottish Cup, setting them up for an away day against Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the next round.

Linlithgow Rose currently sit in 8th place with 19 points from their 12 games played – made up of five wins, four draws, and three defeats.

The Rosey Posey have lost two of their last three matches – with a 2-0 victory over Civil Service Strollers sitting in between 2-1 and 3-0 defeats to East Kilbride and Celtic B.

Both sides last met each other in the 21/22 season as League Two outfits – Albion Rovers defeated Cowdenbeath 1-0 in the last meeting, as well as 2-1 earlier that season. Cowdenbeath did get one over Rovers, winning 1-0, with the other result ending in a 0-0 draw.

The Blue Brazil come into this off the back of a Scottish Cup Second Round victory over Kilwinning Rangers, winning 1-0. The result put them in the hat for the Third Round, where they face an away trip to Championship side, Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

Albion Rovers currently sit in 15th place with 13 points from their nine games played – made up of four wins, one draw, and four defeats.

Rovers also come into this fresh off progressing into the Scottish Cup Third Round – thanks to a 2-1 win over St Andrews United. They will welcome former Lowland League Champions and now League Two side, Bonnyrigg Rose.

Both sides managed a home victory, last season – with both fixtures ending 1-0.

Cowdenbeath currently sit in 11th place with 16 points from their 12 games played – made up of four wins, four draws, and four defeats.

After back-to-back victories, The Blue Brazil suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat away to Tranent, and will be hoping to put some more points on the board.

Caledonian Braves currently sit in 9th place with 17 points from their 13 games played – made up of five wins, two draws, and six defeats.

Since their Scottish Cup exit at the hands of Fraserburgh, The Braves have hit a fine run of form, managing four consecutive victories – three in the league, and knocking fellow Lowland League side, East Stirlingshire out of the South Challenge Cup.
