University of Stirling vs Gretna 2008

University of Stirling took maximum points off Gretna 2008, last season – thanks to 3-2 and 2-0 victories.

University of Stirling currently sit in 13th place with 18 points from their 14 games played – made up of five wins, three draws, and six defeats.

Uni have won three of their last four outings, but come into this off the back of a 2-0 defeat at home to Civil Service Strollers.

Gretna 2008 currently sit in 17th place with 6 points from their 16 games played – made up of two wins and 14 defeats.

The Anvils will be looking to build on their second Lowland League victory of the 23/24 campaign, where they defeated Broomhill 1-0 at home.

University of Stirling vs Civil Service Strollers

Civil Service Strollers got the better of the results against University of Stirling, last season – winning 2-0 away at Forthbank, followed by a 0-0 draw at Christie Gillies Park.

University of Stirling currently sit in 13th place with 18 points from their 13 games played – made up of five wins, three draws, and five defeats.

Uni come into this off the back of three consecutive victories – 1-0 away wins over Albion Rovers and Hearts B sit either side of their 3-1 home win over Bo’ness United.

Civil Service Strollers currently sit in 9th place with 20 points from their 14 games played – made up of six wins, two draws, and six defeats.

After a run of four consecutive defeats without scoring a goal, Strollers come into this off the back of a 2-1 win away to Gala Fairydean Rovers.

Bo’ness United vs East Kilbride

East Kilbride have never lost to Bo’ness United, winning six of their seven meetings – including the back-to-back Lowland League Cup Finals of the last two seasons.

Bo’ness United currently sit in 5th place with 25 points from their 13 games played – made up of eight wins, one draw, and four defeats.

The B.U’s have won five of their last seven matches, including two Scottish Cup victories over Darvel and Luncarty – seeing them look forward to an away trip to Championship side, Greenock Morton.

East Kilbride are currently top of the table as the only team yet to taste defeat in the 23/24 Lowland League campaign – with their 35 points made up of 11 wins and two draws.

The Kilby statistically have the best attack and defence at this point of the season – scoring 42 goals and conceding only 11.

Broomhill vs Berwick Rangers

Both sides managed home victories against each other, last season – with Broomhill winning 3-2, and Berwick Rangers winning 2-1.

Broomhill currently sit in 7th place with 20 points from their 14 games played – made up of six wins, two draws, and six defeats.

The Broom come into this having suffered a 1-0 defeat away to Gretna 2008, at the weekend – a result that saw The Anvils not be on the losing side for only the second time, this league campaign.

Berwick Rangers currently sit in 14th place with 17 points from their 15 games played – made up of four wins, five draws, and six defeats.

The Wee Gers looked set to securing their first victory since 16th September, at the weekend – going into the break 2-0 up v Tranent, only for The Big T to pull two goals back on the 84th minute, and with the last kick of the game.

Caledonian Braves vs Tranent

Tranent took maximum points off Caledonian Braves, last season – winning 4-2 and 3-2.

Caledonian Braves currently sit in 12th place with 18 points from their 15 games played – made up of five wins, three draws, and seven defeats.

The Braves put in a shift last time out, as they lost 2-1 at home to league leaders, East Kilbride – with Cammy Breadner’s looping, left-footed volley to put The Braves ahead being one of the highlights of the match.

Tranent currently sit in 4th place with 26 points from their 12 games played – made up of eight wins, two draws, and two defeats.

The Big T left it late to keep their unbeaten run intact – with Aiden Walsh’s 84th minute goal and Ben Miller’s last kick of the game being enough to leave Berwick Rangers with a point, making that 10 wins and two draws from their last 12 games.

Gala Fairydean Rovers vs Albion Rovers

This is the first time both sides have met each other.

Gala Fairydean Rovers currently sit in 9th place with 20 points from their 15 games played – made up of six wins, two draws, and seven defeats.

GFR come into this having suffered three straight defeats – 4-1 v Cumbernauld Colts, their 5-2 Scottish Cup exit at the hands of West of Scotland side, Pollok, and their recent 2-1 loss to Civil Service Strollers.

Albion Rovers currently sit in 15th place with 15 points from their 11 games played – made up of four wins, three draws, and four defeats.

Rovers come into this unbeaten in their last four games – winning 1-0 v Berwick Rangers, 2-1 v St Andrews United to progress in the Scottish Cup, and their two recent games have ended with 0-0 and 1-1 draws with Cowdenbeath and Cumbernauld Colts.

Berwick Rangers vs Tranent

Both Berwick Rangers and Tranent secured home victories against each other, last season – with both games ending 1-0.

Berwick Rangers currently sit in 12th place with 16 points from their 14 games played – made up of four wins, four draws, and six defeats.

The Wee Gers are without a win in their last six outings (losing five), and have managed to find the back of the net on only two occasions.

Tranent currently sit in 4th place with 25 points from their 11 games played – made up of eight wins, a draw, and two defeats.

The Big T are on a nine-game winning streak – with their most recent result seeing them knock Lowland League leaders, East Kilbride out of the Scottish Cup with a 7-0 thrashing, welcoming Forfar Athletic to Foresters Park in the next round.

Caledonian Braves vs East Kilbride

East Kilbride got the better of the results, last season – drawing 2-2 then defeating Caledonian Braves 4-2.

Caledonian Braves currently sit in 10th place with 18 points from their 14 games played – made up of five wins, three draws, and six defeats.

The Braves have won four of their last five outings – with their most recent result being a 2-2 draw away to Cowdenbeath.

East Kilbride currently sit top of the table with 32 points from their 12 games played – made up of ten wins and two draws, they are the only side yet to taste defeat in the Lowland League, this season.

East Kilbride will be looking to bounce back from only their second defeat of the season, licking the wounds of the clubs heaviest loss – a 7-0 drubbing at the hands of Tranent to see them exit the Scottish Cup.
