The 2022/23 season of The Park’s Motor Group Scottish Lowland Football League.

Edinburgh University vs Albion Rovers

This is the first time both sides have met each other.

Edinburgh University currently sit bottom of the table with four points from their 16 games played – made up of one win, one draw, and 14 defeats.

The Uni come into this having suffered back-to-back 4-0 defeats at the hands of Celtic B and Hearts B.

Albion Rovers currently sit in 12th place with 19 points from their 13 games played – made up of five wins, four draws, and four defeats.

Rovers come into this off the back of consecutive cup exits – losing 3-0 to Kilwinning Rangers in the South Challenge Cup, and 1-0 to former Lowland League Champions, Bonnyrigg Rose in the Scottish Cup.

Linlithgow Rose vs Gretna 2008

Linlithgow Rose won the only previous meeting between the two sides – 3-0 at Raydale Park, earlier this season.

Linlithgow Rose currently sit in 8th place with 23 points from their 15 games played – made up of six wins, five draws, and four defeats.

The Rosey Posey come into this following a cup exit – losing 2-0 to Pollok in the South Challenge Cup.

Gretna 2008 currently sit second bottom with six points from their 17 games played – made up of two wins and 15 defeats.

Following their 1-0 win over Broomhill to bring them of the foot of the table, The Anvils come into this having lost 3-1 away to Stirling Uni.

University of Stirling vs East Stirlingshire

University of Stirling have won the previous three meetings with East Stirlingshire – 1-0 and 2-0 in last season’s South Challenge Cup and Lowland League campaign, as well as the 3-2 league victory earlier this season.

University of Stirling currently sit in 7th place with 24 points from their 16 games played – made up of seven wins, three draws, and six defeats.

The Uni come into this with back-to-back victories, defeating Gretna 2008 and Broomhill 3-1 and 4-0.

East Stirlingshire currently sit in 16th place with 13 points from their 17 games played – made up of three wins, four draws, and 10 defeats.

Since their 2-1 win over Celtic B, The Shire come into this with five consecutive losses under their belt – including 4-3 defeats to Broomhill and Bo’ness United.
