BSC GLASGOW have clinched the signing of highly-rated Morton striker Aiden Ferris on loan.
The 18-year-old hitman has been farmed out to the Lowland League new boys to gain match experience as he bids to push for a top team slot at Cappielow.
Ton boss Jim Duffy said: “I had four players from Clyde on loan at East Kilbride last season in the Scottish Sun Lowland League and they had a good experience.
“It helps young players to face the competitive demands the league throws up and we feel it will be good for Aiden’s development.”
Ferris joins a trio of East Kilbride FC’s Challenge Cup winning squad who have teamed up with their former coaches Iain King and Craig Young at BSC.
Defender Aaron Murdoch, EKFC’s Player of the Year last season, keeper Iain Stewart and midfielder Paul Tierney have all been brought on board as King and Young bolster their squad.
BSC head coach Iain King and his team have been through a hectic first fortnight assessing the squad and making signings.
And he said: “Aiden’s signing is a coup for us and we feel he will be a great capture for the club.
“He showed up really well in his first bounce game and the rest of the boys have settled in really well.
“Craig and I feel the job is just starting now after a whirlwind start and we hope to be in good shape for the next Lowland League match at home to Dalbeattie Star on Saturday October 11.”
