Lowland League Live launches with four-match broadcast schedule, beginning with Kilwinning Rangers v Auchinleck Talbot
The Lowland League is delighted to announce the launch of Lowland League Live, a new free-to-air live football programme that will bring selected matches from across the Lowland League East and West to audiences through The Scottish Football Network (SFN).
Produced by Gantry Media Co, Lowland League Live will provide supporters with accessible live coverage of Lowland League football, helping to showcase the clubs, players, supporters and communities that make up one of the most exciting levels of the Scottish football pyramid.
The initial broadcast schedule will feature four fixtures from across the competition, beginning with a mouth-watering Lowland League West encounter.
KILWINNING RANGERS v AUCHINLECK TALBOT TO LAUNCH THE SERIES
The inaugural Lowland League Live broadcast will see Kilwinning Rangers take on Auchinleck Talbot on Tuesday 22 September (kick-off 7.45pm). The fixture will provide a fitting opening for the new programme, bringing two well-known names from Scottish football together for the launch broadcast.
Supporters will be able to watch the match free-to-air on The Scottish Football Network, with no subscription or pay-per-view charge.
The opening broadcast will set the tone for what Lowland League Live hopes to deliver throughout the season – competitive football, passionate supporters and the stories of clubs and communities from across the Lowland League.

The four-match schedule will provide coverage from across different areas of Scottish football, showcasing the variety of clubs, grounds, supporters and communities that make up the Lowland League.
A NEW PLATFORM FOR LOWLAND LEAGUE FOOTBALL
The launch of Lowland League Live represents an important opportunity to increase the visibility of the Lowland League and its member clubs.
The programme will bring live matches to a wider audience, providing supporters who cannot attend matches with the opportunity to follow their clubs from wherever they are.
Alongside the live action, the broadcasts will seek to capture the atmosphere and character of Lowland League football, telling the stories of the clubs and communities behind the matches.
The Lowland League sees the initiative as an opportunity to showcase the quality, ambition and diversity that exists throughout the competition.

“Lowland League Live is also providing paid roles for media professionals and up-and-coming talent. Thanks also go to the members clubs who have agreed to have their fixtures broadcast as part of this launch.”

An important part of Lowland League Live will be its commitment to developing new talent within sports broadcasting and production.
The project aims to provide opportunities for people who may otherwise find it difficult to gain experience working on live sport, particularly those looking to establish themselves within the media and production industries.
Working alongside the experienced team at Gantry Media Co, emerging talent will be able to gain genuine experience of live football production in a professional environment.
Importantly, these are paid opportunities.
The Scottish Football Network and Gantry Media Co believe that people contributing their time, skills and talent to live broadcasts should be properly recognised and rewarded for their work.
The production team and on-screen talent involved in Lowland League Live will be paid for their work, helping to provide a more sustainable route into sports broadcasting for those looking to develop their careers.
